TIASD 2018

We are pleased to announce the third Edition of TIASD 2018, that will be held in April 26-28th 2018 in Guimarães (Portugal). The event is hosted by the Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering (ISISE), in collaboration with the University of Munich (TUM) and the University of Pisa (DESTEC). 

The call is open!
Financial Support
The workshop is funded by the DAAD in the framework of the program “Hochschul dialog mit Südeuropa 2018”. The participation is free of charge for the selected students. Moreover, students coming from Italy and Germany will receive a travel expenses allowance of 225€ and a daily allowance of 55€ per day.

​how to apply

Master students of Civil Engineering and Computational Mechanics are kindly invited to apply for participation. The number of participants is limited. The selection will take into account the curriculum vitae et studiorum, basic knowledge on seismic design, motivation and language skills.
Please send:
1. motivation letter (max 1 page)
2. CV with grades to:
  • Dr. Linda Giresini, linda.giresini@unipi.it (Italian students)
  • Dr. Francesca Taddei, francesca.taddei@tum.de  (German students)
Please attach to the application a certificate of english knowledge (Cambridge English Scale). Self assessment is not accepted.
Deadline for application submission: Jan. 15th, 2018
The results will be notified by: Mar. 5th, 2018.
